Please Stop Summoning Me!

Chapter 72

It was two in the morning.

Shen Yi put on a black coat, a black hat, and held a threaded cane in his right hand. He stood calmly in front of the mirror. Black hair, brown pupils, and a slightly thin build. The person in the mirror has changed a lot, especially the confidence in his eyes.

He was no longer the man who had trouble sleeping a few months ago, just starting to explore the field of mysticism and panicking. Shen Yi was very aware that he couldn't wait any longer, otherwise, Tina was likely to "blow up."

The reason he called Su Ling was quite simple: her strength was very good, and she could be trusted in all aspects. She had good character, and he held something over her. He did want to contact George, but he heard that the guy had gone to the Badlands and was doing things that an investigator couldn't do so he couldn't come back for the time being.

Shen Yi walked out of the house and looked calmly at Su Ling outside the café. She was still wearing a black coat, a white sweater, a black skirt, and black leggings. Most investigators wore a distinctive suit, clean and tidy, with black being the dominant color, followed by white. But Su Ling liked freshness, and she usually goes to school, so she rarely wore a distinctive suit.

"Mr. Shen, where do you want to go?"

Shen Yi glanced at her and said lightly, "Just follow."

He took a few steps, but found that the girl behind him had not caught up.

He turned around and asked, "What's wrong?"

Su Ling shook her head repeatedly and said, "It's nothing. I was just a little sleepy and yawned. It's nothing."

--

The hotel.

The two of them entered the room without a sound. Shen Yi's transformation into mist made Su Ling grit her teeth again. The aura of the gods was really terrifying.

Su Ling finally recovered and noticed a girl lying on a pink single bed.

She observed her and immediately frowned.

The girl's two ears were furry cat ears!

"Strange."

Su Ling was surprised. Half-beasts were basically extinct and could only be seen occasionally in legends and evil territories. Why was there a half-beast girl in this hotel? This was a densely populated city for humans.

Shen Yi calmly explained, "She wasn't like this before. This is the 'work' of the Pseudo God, and what I have to do is to restore her to her original state."

The Pseudo God's work?

Su Ling frowned, suddenly realizing the current situation.

She understood.

This may be another "fight" between big shots. Last time, Mr. Shen's opponent was the Quiet Words. This time, his opponent is the Pseudo God. As for what kind of big shot the "Pseudo God" is, according to him, it is the person whom the Saint of the Sun Crown Church, the "Chaser of Light," is devoting all his efforts to eliminate.

Obviously, this was not an ordinary transcendent.

Oh... I didn't expect to be involved in the center of the vortex and be involved in the struggle between big shots... Maybe just the aftermath will lead me to death.

Su Ling took a deep breath...

"Hurry up, we only have a few hours left."

Shen Yi took out two bottles of green potion but didn't drink them directly.

"Su Ling, listen to me."

Shen Yi turned around and leaned towards Su Ling, whispering a few words in her ear.

Su Ling subconsciously wanted to step back but didn't.

After a moment of silence, she nodded gently.

"Okay, I understand."

Su Ling picked up a potion and drank it slowly, feeling the bitter taste flow down her throat.

A few minutes later.

In the single bed of the inn, two women and one man held hands and slept together.

Tina slept in the middle of the bed, with a peaceful expression and rhythmic breathing.

Shen Yi squeezed onto the left side of the bed, while Su Ling, who had fallen asleep, was on the right side.

Outside the room, invisible mist gradually surged.

The one-eyed black shadow slowly emerged from the boundless fog, with its golden-red pupils particularly prominent.

It gazed at the second floor of the inn, as if attracted by some kind of mystical spirituality.

A suppressed roar came from its invisible throat, and the monster gradually disappeared into the darkness.

There was a light knocking sound from inside the inn. After the suppressed and hoarse roar, blackness surged outside the window. The monster with golden-red pupils formed a huge shadow in the moonlight.

It slowly merged in from the door and entered the interior of the inn.

The people inside the inn were still sleeping soundly as an ancient tune that no one could identify slowly sounded. Lonely and distant, empty and heart-breaking, it echoed in the inn and lingered for a long time without dissipating.

The black huge body gradually climbed to the second floor of the inn, and the sickle in its hand lightly tapped the wall, making a slight and rhythmic sound.

 Tap.

 Tap.

 Tap-tap.

The enormous body had reached outside the door.

 It slowly merged in.

The one-eyed black shadow had a huge figure, standing in front of the bed, with its body reaching the ceiling and its straw-made arms tightly holding the huge sickle.

The three people on the bed still had their eyes closed.

Bloodthirsty, cruel, and desperate emotions erupted from the golden-red pupils, and the negative emotions that burst out for a moment rushed destructively around them like they had a substance.

It raised the huge sickle that was nearly one meter long.

The mist suddenly dispersed, and the blade shimmered.

Swing.

"Clang!"

Shen Yi sat on the bed under the moonlight, pressing down on his black hat with one hand and holding a threaded cane in the other.

He had stopped the sickle.

"I was right to think that since 'Miracle White' left a 'bomb' on Tina, there must be a backup plan and safety measures."

Shen Yi smiled. He hadn't fallen asleep and had been pretending to sleep in bed all along.

Before they went to bed together, Shen Yi instructed Su Ling to go to sleep alone, while he pretended to sleep next to her. Su Ling couldn't fathom Mr. Shen's thoughts, but she agreed anyway... After all, this guy wasn't human, so she didn't have to worry about him doing anything bad to them.

Shen Yi stood up slowly, and the immense power on his cane forced the sickle to move backward, causing the huge monster to retreat.

This was a real monster! It stood nearly three meters tall and held a pitch-black sickle. It was a "straw man" made of bundles of straw, with a strange golden-red pupil on its head that was full of negative emotions. It let out a hoarse roar and tried to swing its sickle again, only to suddenly find that the sickle blade had already cracked.

It shattered completely with just a little force which stunned it for a moment, clearly not expecting this to happen.

"It seems that your weapon isn't hard enough."

Shen Yi smiled slightly and quickly swung his cane again.

Boom

It was like hitting an art piece made of tofu, the eerie straw giant was shattered in an instant by the threaded cane, which was nearly 2.5 meters high.

"It broke just like that?"

Shen Yi muttered dissatisfiedly. He had not controlled his strength properly, and it was too powerful.

The broken straw pieces on the ground trembled and shook constantly, as black mist emerged from them, stitching the body back together.

Still.

The broken pieces immediately stopped healing, and the black mist also stopped moving.

However, Shen Yi didn't have the habit of standing still and waiting for enemies to revive.

He immediately raised his hand and swung his cane again.

Boom

The sound was like hitting a stake, and the monster, which had not yet revived, was smashed again, but after a while, signs of revival began again.

"Can't it be killed?"

He thought to try killing it a few more times. What if there's a limit to its existence?

Without hesitation, Shen Yi repeatedly struck the cane on the ground.

Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.

The entire room trembled. If it weren't for Su Ling using her invisible technique to drive away the people, everyone in the inn would have woken up. Shen Yi kept hitting for a while, and the monster finally stopped resurrecting and turned into a pile of abandoned straw.

"Phew, I'm exhausted."

He breathed out and squatted down to search on the straw man, quickly discovering a strange object.

White crystal grains.

"What is this?"

Shen Yi played with the white grains in his hand. It was obviously a symbol, but he didn't know what it represented. He turned his head, and the two girls on the bed were still holding hands, immersed in their unknown dreams.

"Ah!", Tina suddenly screamed.

She seemed to have encountered something extremely terrifying, and her body began to tremble and shake her head continuously. Shen Yi was slightly stunned, and then found that Su Ling's body was also trembling, and blood was oozing from her skin.

"What's going on? Why can things within dreams affect the real world?"

The Dream View Potion doesn't have this effect, and normal dreaming wouldn't have this happen.

Could it be a trap?

It was a trap set by Miracle White.

Shen Yi pondered for a while, took out the dark green potion bottle that he hadn't drunk from...should he drink it now? But if he was attacked by monsters in the real world again, he could be completely destroyed.

"Ugh."

Su Ling's body suddenly shook violently, and as the shaking amplified, more blood overflowed from her skin. He saw all of this and could only take a deep breath and drink it.

Shen Yi lay back down on the left side of Tina.

He was close to the girl's body and held her fair and smooth left hand.

Dreaming.

Before going to bed, he suddenly thought of something. He had become very clear-headed in his dreams several times and had even seen Aina and Byron. The image of himself they saw seemed to be slightly different from reality. What kind of form would he be in when he entered Tina's dream?

Shen Yi had just thought of this when drowsiness surged over him.
